We are pleased to announce that Traycon Manufacturing, a manufacturer of conveyors vertiveyors and OTC units for the foodservice industry, has been acquired by Nathaniel Sparks of Sparks Custom Fabrication (SCF) in a move that combines specialized engineering, cutting-edge technology and innovation.
Traycon Manufacturing has been producing conveyors for over 55 years and will now move into SCF’s state-of-the-art 800,000 sq ft facility in Adamsville, TN.

Skilled craftsmanship
“We are really proud to announce this move,” says Al Cialone of Traycon Manufacturing. “It brings together our 55 years of focused, quality engineering and knowledge with the advanced technology and skilled craftsmanship of SCF.
“SCF has some of the best engineers in the industry, along with a top-quality stainless manufacturing background. Combined with our unique understanding of the food conveyor industry, we’re excited to develop and bring new conveyor solutions to the market.”
Traycon Manufacturing’s move into the SCF facility brings that range of expertise under one roof.
“The goal is always about improving the product for our customers,” says Matthew Smith of Traycon Manufacturing. “Moving into the larger facility will allow for more idea-generation and greater focus on innovation plus a smoother transition from the conception stage all the way through to delivery and installation. We’ll be able to offer a wider product line while producing everything in-house – enabling us to offer very competitive pricing. We’re excited to see what the future holds.”
Nathaniel Sparks, SCF president, says, “Traycon Manufacturing is exactly the kind of business SCF is delighted to work with. They’re an American success story whose 55 years in the industry is testament to the quality product they continue to offer their customers. We look forward to seeing what our combined experience and skills will bring to the conveyor system market.”
