Robert Croft FIH operated his own company of specialist catering consultants since 1984, with an emphasis on the introduction of systems catering and new technology to the hotel and catering industry. He was a globally renowned specialist consultant for Systems implementation such as Cook-Chill/Freeze systems.
He brought other very experienced and highly qualified associates and designers into his team as required and depending on the country in which each project was based. Robert always retained full control on all projects and to clients.
Major clients
Robert had over 50 years’ experience in the hotel and catering industry, including 10 years as a professional chef, mainly with companies like Mövenpick in Switzerland and Germany. He provided management, design, and operational training consultancy for many major clients.
These included VW AG in Germany & Russia, Isal Iceland, Mars Group Catering Europe, BASF AG, Germany, Wintershall AG, Germany and Libya, GIZ – Afghanistan, Holiday Inn (CHIC), and Queens Moat House International, Shell UK Ltd, as well as institutions including universities, colleges and city corporations such as Aberdeen, Glasgow, Suffolk, Exeter and Bristol.
He was the senior consultant and managing director of RC Associates UK Ltd and a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality (FIH).
