Klingensmith and the newly-created team at Hussmann plan to bring new products to market for the foodservice channel while establishing new paths of distribution exclusively for foodservice. Through these efforts, they will provide better service and expand into new markets and territories.
Klingensmith is joined by sales representatives Lesa McKinney, Kelly McCombs and Jordyn Rivera. The team is supported cross-functionally by a robust marketing group, product managers and design engineers.
Hussmann, a Panasonic company, has been in the grocery and C-store refrigerated merchandising business for more than 100 years. “This demonstrates a substantial investment in foodservice and product innovations,” says Aaron Harrington, Vice President of Sales- Small Format at Hussmann. “I am confident that we have the team in place to support this growing foodservice segment.” Hussmann plans to expand its existing retail portfolio with foodservice-friendly options and enhancements.
Hussmann continues to demonstrate its commitment by joining the leading foodservice trade organizations including MAFSI, NAFEM, FSCI and FEDA.
With regulatory changes including the AIM Act and Snap 26 ruling, the foodservice team at Hussmann is gearing up to support customers, dealers, and consultants as they work to keep designs compliant with changing regulations. One innovative product the team is bringing to market is the Krack air and water-cooled R-290 Monoblock. This all-in-one condensing unit and evaporator system has generated attention as an ideal solution for walk-in coolers.
