Organized by RX France, a leading professional tradeshow organizer, EquipHotel Paris is the go-to B2B event for the hospitality industry. Every two years, it hosts over 1,200 exhibiting companies, attracting 113,000 horeca decision-makers, including chefs, restaurant industry professionals, hotel managers, architects, decorators, investors, café and bar professionals.
For five days, professionals from the hospitality industry will be able to meet, discover a wide range of practical and concrete solutions, talk with new suppliers and find out more about the sector through conference sessions, workshops, master classes, competitions, displays, experiences and more.
The theme of EquipHotel this year will be conscious hospitality, which covers everything from sustainability to ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable experience. Split across foodservice, design, wellbeing and technology and services, visitors can explore trends and challenges from across the hospitality sector.
The employee experience is also becoming a priority. Attractiveness, team spirit, inclusion, and employee retention are at the heart of a hotel or restaurant’s organisation. “Society is evolving. So are behaviors and jobs. We need to adapt. This November, EquipHotel will therefore increase the number of discussions and perspectives from experts to help hotel and restaurant professionals anticipate these changes, handle them and overcome them,” explains Béatrice Gravier, director of the show and of the Hospitality & Food division at RX France.
The event this year will have five major strands running through the program:
Planning for the long term and sustainability
A focus on social responsibility and sustainable development should bring change to the hospitality sector, touching on how teams are managed, projects are designed and ultimately experienced.
Making businesses more attractive
Recruiting and retaining staff is a significant challenge in the sector right now, making this theme a vital element – employers and organizations need to learn about the factors that will drive recruitment in their business.
Keeping a human face on digital technologies
Considering how digital applications and solutions can ease the day to day operation of a hospitality establishments while improving the performance of a restaurant. Another aspect of this theme is how to marry digital elements with the human relationship.
Making great things with good practices
Luxury in the shape of space, comfort and time – created in a mindful way with a focus on the environment and including elements such as recycled and sustainable furniture.
Focusing on self-care
Turning the lens on wellbeing in the hospitality sector. A trend that has been building for some time already and is continuing to grow has seen a spike in the popularity of spas, thermal baths, yoga retreats and similar, responding to a demand from customers who want to get away from it all.
This year, for the first time FCSI France has partnered with EquipHotel to create the first ever Foodservice Equipment Design Awards, aiming to reward the best kitchen designs and equipment, whether displayed in the front or back office of an establishment.
