McDonald’s childrens’ parties have long been a feature of the brand’s offer. But, in Hong Kong, party planners are taking it one step further.
Since 2011, CNBC reports, McDonald’s Hong Kong has been offering happy couples the chance to share their special day with friends and family under the golden arches.
And, a spokesperson said, it has recently expanded its service from three restaurants to 15. It also hosts engagement, bridal shower and anniversary parties.
With packages ranging from its most basic, costing HK$2,888 (US$373) to a deluxe package maxing out at nearly HK$10,000.
The deluxe version includes two hour venue rental, McDonaldland character gifts for 50 guests, 50 invites, wedding gifts, a pair of balloon wedding rings, a bridal bouquet, apple pie cake display, Crystal McDonald’s house, decorations, an MC and more.
The whole day costs well below average, says CNBC, which estimates most US wedding cost around $30,000. But, the spokesperson says, couples are attracted to McDonald’s for more important reasons than their bank balances.

It seems Hong Kong has fallen even deeper in love with McDonald’s.
