On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, Birchfield Jacobs Foodsystems hosted the 30th Annual Golf Scramble and Crab Feast to benefit the FCSI Educational Foundation. The golf scramble was held at the beautiful and renowned Queenstown Harbor River & Lakes Courses on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
184 golfers enjoyed the best-ball tournament, which included 6 prize holes on each course.
For both golfers and non-golfers, the fun continued at Maria’s Love Point Bed & Breakfast, on the picturesque shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The 300+ people in attendance enjoyed a full dinner buffet, Rita’s Italian Ice, live music, volleyball, cornhole, and a variety of cold beverages for all. The guests of honor were 23 bushels of steamed jumbo male crabs, served hot and perfectly seasoned.
The event raised over $50,000, bringing the total donated to the Education Foundation over the past three decades to more than $432,000. Thank you to all who attended and shared in this wonderful day.
