Final countdown to the National Restaurant Association Show

Over 2,100 new and returning foodservice companies will greet visitors at the premier show for restaurants and hospitality

The National Restaurant Association, Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show returns this week with a packed programme of talks, demonstrations and events – and a packed show floor.

Among the foodservice sector’s premier shows, it will welcome over 2100 manufacturers and suppliers who will showcase their products and services at the event, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. 

An impressive 800 of that number are first-time exhibitors, meaning there has been a 61% increase on first-time exhibitors on the 2022 show

“The National Restaurant Association Show is a large, legacy event with a reputation for driving innovation,” said Tom Cindric, President of Winsight Exhibitions. “Each year, the Show does what no other event can—it provides a full picture of where the industry is now and where it’s heading. Taking up a space the equivalent size of 11 football fields and with an expected attendance of 160,000 restaurant and hospitality buyers looking for innovation in new products and solutions.

Many of this year’s new exhibitors can be found in one of seven featured pavilions: A Taste of the States, Bellavita Italian Pavilion, Iberica Spanish Pavilion, The Beverage Room, Global Food Expo, Organic & Natural, and The Culinary Experience. The Startup Alley will also feature many first-time exhibitors showcasing food and beverage items, equipment and supplies, technology and more that are helping the industry move forward with fresh, new ideas in foodservice.

There will be a large group of celebrated chefs and mixologists overseeing a program o demonstrations and talks about everything From plant-based seafood alternatives to fresh interpretations of classic African flavors, and culinary cannabis to modern takes on classic comforts onstage.

Among the participating chefs are James Beard Award winners and nominees, Michelin-starred restaurant chefs, sought-after culinary consultants, Emmy-nominated TV personalities, food activists and philanthropists, and more. As the foodservice industry’s most prolific gathering, the Show provides a unique opportunity for these culinary leaders and beverage experts to demonstrate their mastery and share insights on the latest industry trends and techniques. With diverse culinary backgrounds and styles, these accomplished chefs promise to deliver an inspiring and unforgettable experience for Show attendees. From global flavors to local favorites, attendees will experience a true culinary journey that will excite their taste buds and expand their culinary horizons.

These include the award-winning chef Rick Bayless, California chef Nancy Silverton of Netflix Chef’s Table fame, and culinary cannabis pioneer Miguel Trinidad.

Head to the Lakeside Center Level 3, for The Culinary Experience, which will offers chef-led demos, insightful education sessions, and book signings with select chefs. This will also be the location for The Beverage Room, showcasing the top mixologists, suppliers, ingredients, and products to keep beverage programs on the cutting edge.
