Later this month FHA HoReCa in Singapore will open its doors for the first time since 2018. It’s an opportunity for manufacturers, operators and consultants to get together and explore all that’s new and exciting across the commercial foodservice sector.
FHA HoReCa will take place at Singapore Expo on 25-28 October 2022.
“After more than two years with no international travel, we believe the delegates will be eagerly looking forward to attending in person at FHA this year – being the first major international foodservice event in the Asia Pacific region,” says Mario Sequeira FCSI, owner of Total Hospitality Services in Australia and president of FCSI Worldwide.
For the FCSI Asia Pacific Division (APD), veteran and highly regarded consultant Alburn William FCSI and Sequeira will oversee a series of events during the show. “Alburn and I are looking forward to re-connecting with industry professionals in our Asia Pacific region especially those from our FCSI global family,” says Sequeira. “Change is occurring across our industry, including a level of disruption that we all need to keep pace with. We are expecting to experience innovation in technology and services that our FCSI Allied Members have been working on.”
This year FHA HoReCa is introducing a brand new experience zone: Hospitality 4.0. The feature area in Hall 2 will highlight innovative solutions in three distinct areas – restaurant, kitchen, and hotels – and will offer a four-day conference program with over 50 international thought-leaders discussing the future of hospitality. This zone will also incorporate a start-up village and play host to the inaugural Hotel Innovation Challenge Asia (HICA) 2022.
The most important business event
“At HoReCa 2022 more than 800 exhibitors from across the world will come together. Innovators in foodservice and hospitality can connect, trade, and discover the latest industry trends,” says Janice Lee, FHA HoReCa event director. “With a 44-year track record, FHA is the most important business event for international suppliers to meet buyers in Asia and beyond.”
FCSI APD will have a dedicated booth to connect with attendees at the show and have planned masterclasses, roundtable events and networking (see below for details).
Sequeira says FHA is an event that should attract interest from well beyond the region. “At a recent FCSI Worldwide strategic planning workshop in London, we discussed the dominance of Asia in the world economy by 2030; we encourage FCSI members not only from APD but also from EAME and TAD to join us at FHA 2022,” he says. “Together we are stronger, together we are better, together we increase our knowledge and experience so we can offer our clients a better service.”
