Bouncing back

“In terms of market size, Asia Pacific is one of the largest [foodservice] regions,” says Chopra. “So, Asia is also the most impacted region by Covid, with almost $380 bn in terms of sales lost. This pain point will continue for the next 12-24 months. Having said that, it’s a rapidly changing environment. With a vaccine coming – or new technology to help the foodservice industry – the bounce back could be a lot faster.”
