John is a       partner in the firm of Van Velzen + Radchenko Design. He graduated in       Architectural Technology from Ryerson and expanded his academic base with       studies in Business and Marketing. A versatile 35-year career in many       facets of the foodservice industry has provided a varied and diverse       background in the fabrication, dealer and design field. A Professional       member of FCSI since 1987, he has held various positions in the Canadian       Chapter, culminating in 1999 as Chairman. He has been a sessional lecturer       atGeorge Brown College as well as an invited speaker to Interior Design & Hospitality students.  John was one of the first members elected to the Board of Trustees for FCSI North America, served as Chair of North America in 2003-2004 and began his 2-year term as FCSI worldwide President in October 2008.

Ian has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years involved in contracting and consulting over the last 19 years. Mr. Hopper is director of the MTD Group, one of the oldest foodservice consultancy companies in Australia. His business has taken him to various parts of the world including Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific. He finds the benefits of being a foodservice consultant exciting, challenging, rewarding and is enthusiastic about being able to work with people to see their dreams and hopes come to fruition. Ian has been a Trustee on the FCSI Asia Pacific Board,  represented the Asia Pacific region on the worldwide Board of Directors and began his 2-year term as FCSI worldwide Secretary/Treasurer in October 2008.

Gerhard Kühnel, FCSI, has been a member of FCSI since 1986. He became a member of the European board of trustees in 1996 and chairman in 2000.  He became FCSI Worldwide President in October 2006 and is currently serving a two year term in that position. Gerhard has over 20 years of experience in the hotel and catering industry, with the past 15 years as an independent MAS consultant. Senior partner of Luxenburger and Partner-Unternehmensberatung, Wermelskirchen, as well as the managing director of GBS-Gastgewerbe Beratungs-Service GmbH, Düsseldorf, Gerhard's field of work involves every aspect of developing and managing a business in the foodservice industry, from the development of a concept to market research, pre-feasibility studies, design, financial analysis and management.

Rosemary has worked in the foodservice and hospitality industry for many years. She started in catering operations management with Marks and Spencer, where she worked in stores and head office for over 20 years. She has been a foodservice management consultant since 1992 working in several sectors.  During this time she has worked with FP Consultants for five years and then independently as principal of Rosemary Osbourne Consultancy. In 2000 she joined Cini-Little (GB) and in 2003 once again returned to run her own consultancy business.  She is a past chair of the European Catering Association (GB) and of the FCSI UK, chairing the two organisations consecutively for two years. Most recently, Rosemary has served as the FCSI UK representative and Trustee on the European Board and now serves as the Chair of FCSI Europe/Africa/Middle East as well as director on the FCSI Worldwide Board.

Clara Pi obtained her B.Sc. in Food Science (McGill) with First Class Honors and M.Sc. in Human Nutrition from UBC, Canada.  She is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN) and a member of the Dietitians of Canada. During her foodservice career of over 30 years in Canada and Hong Kong Clara pioneered the design of computer systems for Nutrition and Food Service Management, successfully piloting and implementation cook-chill production and end-point retherm systems both in Canada and Hong Kong. She is also a part-time lecturer with the University of Hong Kong in Dietetics and M.Sc. Program. Clara joined FCSI Asia Pacific in 1998, and was instrumental in the growth and expansion of Asia Pacific from a chapter to a division. Clara has published numerous articles on quality healthcare food service management systems, and has received the Best Article Award by a Consultant member from FCSI in 2005. She is also a frequent speaker at various international conferences. As FCSI Beijing Conference Planning Committee chair, Clara was the driving force behind FCSI holding its first carbon neutral event in Beijing and took it upon her own self to plant the necessary trees. She has also taken the FCSI motto "We Share, We Support, We Inspire" to the limits by providing much needed foodservice support in Sichuan during the earthquake relief effort in May 2008. She has worked tirelessly for FCSI and won the 2008 FCSI Service Award.

Chris Bigelow is President of the Bigelow Companies, Inc., consultants to sports, entertainment and convention center facilities. Chris has been in the foodservice business with a concentration in the public assembly market for over thirty years. He received a BA in hotel and restaurant administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has authored numerous publications and lectured on the subject of sports, recreation and convention foodservice throughout North America and Australia. Chris is a Professional Member of FCSI, a Certified Food Service Professional for the National Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers, Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the IAAM Foundation, Past Chair of the Board of Regents and a current Instructor for their Public Assembly Facility Management School, recipient of the Distinguished Allied Member Award from the International Association of Assembly Managers and recipient of the Mickey Warner Distinguished Member Award from the National Association of Commissaries.

John has actively worked in the foodservice/hospitality industry since the age of 14. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel and restaurant administration from Oklahoma State University. He served two years in the U.S. Army, and was a management consultant with Pannell Kerr Forster Company (CPAs) before founding The Cornyn Fasano Group in 1976, a foodservice management and operations consulting firm, where he is principal consultant. He co-authored Noncommercial Foodservice: An Administrator's Handbook in 1996 and has authored numerous articles for other industry publications. John has also spoken to industry-related groups such as the NRA, SFM, NACUFS, and the American Jail Association. John represents FCSI North America on the worldwide Board and is currently Chair Elect for FCSI’s North American Division.

Gérard has been in the Hospitality & Foodservice business since 1975. After his studies he started his own restaurant in 1984. After 5 years he made the move to a management position responsible for 10 restaurants in a leisure parc. 4 Years of retail experience followed this and 2 more years in hospital catering. In 1997 he started his consultancy firm. Gérard joined FCSI in 1999 and became a member in 2000. He became chair of the Netherlands and a member of the European board of trustees in 2006. Beginning in 2009 Gérard is the second representative of the EAME Board to the WW Board. Gérard is now owner and director of Horeca Advies Kloosterhuis in The Netherlands. Besides the horeca market (hotels & restaurants) his business operates in 3 others markets; business catering, catering in hospitals & elderly homes and foodretail.  The projects of ‘Kloosterhuis’ are in most aspects of the business; MAS consultancy & design,  from concept development, pre-feasibility studies, financial analysis, management, etc.
